Happy 4th Birthday Isabelle!

To: Isabelle
From: Grandpa, Grandma & Uncle Steven

Today is the 28th of May,
It is your birthday today.

We knew it quite well,
That it's the birthday of Isabelle.

We knew that today you're 4,
For that we thank our mighty Lord.

But alas we live in a small town,
That is a long ways down.

I wrote this poem all by myself,
'Tis true, I wrote it without any help.

I did this for a smiling girl,
With lots and lots of lovely curls.

The picture attached is one of Isabelle,
She is smiling. Can you tell?

I did this on the day you're 4,
So that you could smile some more.

Don't have too much ice cream. Don't have too much cake,
Because too much of those will give you a bellyache!

Didn't wish on the phone, didn't send you a card,
But for this I worked very hard!

Well last but not least, I hope you're not glum,
Because I want to wish you the Lord's blessings and many more years to come.

Newest Church Family Member: Natalie Anne Folkerts

Our pastor James and his wife Esther have their first child. A girl which they named Natalie Anne. She came early this morning weighing a healthy 7 lbs. 7 ozs. Esther's mom came up to help Esther out with the baby. Tonight we saw the baby and here are some pictures:

Here's proof that we were there

Happy 8th Birthday Neil!

To: Neil
From: Grandpa, Grandma & Uncle Steven

Today is the 5th of May,
It is your birthday today.

We wish we could be there too,
To celebrate with you.

But alas we live in a small town,
That is a long ways down.

May you thank and praise your mighty God,
While on this earth you trod.

I did not want this to be late,
So I wrote this on the day you're 8.

I wrote this poem all by myself,
'Tis true, I wrote it without any help.

The picture attached is one of Neil,
It's a goofy one but--big deal!

Well last but not least, I hope you're not glum,
Because I want to wish you the Lord's blessings and many more years to come.
