Double Birthday Today

I have 2 people I know with birthdays of significance today. My mom, who turns 60, and my grandma, who turns 92 today. All that I can say is: "Praise God for all His goodness in both of their lives!"

Spring is 4 days away! Hooray!

Well, today is St. Patrick's Day, but I'm not Irish. I have not been pinched for not wearing any green. But, whatever . . .

There is one thing that I'm happy about. That is, spring being 4 days away. Thank God for all His goodness to us! Great is His faithfulness! I'm referring to #408 in the 1959 or 1976 edition of the Psalter Hymnal.

Well, that about does it for this post. I'll keep you informed on the wildlife around here (if there is any). Until next time, so long for now . . .

LEGO Building & Builders

Here they are BUILDING a LEGO vehicle. After you finish building your vehicle, you can race it down a track (of which I didn't take a picture), and test out your car's speed and how well built it is.

Check it out.

Nerf Warfare

Well yes Janet is right, I did have some Nerf warfare with my nephews and nieces. I have no pictures of that warfare, but I do have one that Janet doesn't have (of herself battling it out with brother-in-law Ken). I don't know who's more scared--Ken or Janet? Judge for yourselves.

Where have I been lately?

I've been to Edmonton for some medical appointments for my shunt (to see how well it's doing). The shunt is 13 years old. The doctor was surprised as to how well it was doing given its age. Now to suprise a doctor--that's something. While I was in Edmonton my grandpa turned 92. My grandma turns 92 on Mar. 22, same day as my mom, incidentally. Here is my grandpa at 92.
