Here is some MORE wildlife (for Phyllis Havard, etc.)
Here are some moose for all you wildlife fans.
This set of pictures was taken yesterday afternoon, before we chased them away by throwing a rock at them, and hit them in a spot where it hurts. Nice of you to prune our trees, moose, but--that's enough!! Now stay OUT!!! Do you think the moose and deer will get the message? I don't know! Somehow I think not. Hopefully they don't come back again. Well, that's easier said than done! More posts to come . . .
Special Olympics Bowling Fun
I played a game of Special Olympics bowling today. I got a score of 124 points. I think my average is 96 points. I was having a rather upbeat game considering some failed attempts to get a strike. The closest I got to a strike was a spare. After that I kept trying for a strike, but--no go. O well, there's always next week! My bowling coach was at the Costa Rican dinner on Friday at our church--which she enjoyed as well. That about does it . . . for now.

More Matéo
This shot was taken for our church's photo directory

This shot is when we were over visiting for lunch at their house.

Some more of the little guy. I promise, it's the last one!!

By the way . . .
Hi everyone!
Just a note to say that all the pictures you've seen so far are taken by a 7.2 MP Sony DSC-T10 digital camera. This is a fairly new camera to me. I may use some of the ones from my old camera (DSC-T1) where applicable. The T10 is better than the T1--if you ask me. The T10 has an anti-blur function. The T1 does not have that function.

Cute little guy Matéo (and his adoptive mother)
Here is a picture of the little guy. His name is Matéo. His adoptive mother is Naomi Mann, wife of Ben Mann. The cannot have children of their own, so all their children are adopted. Matéo likes me a lot. Every time he sees me he smiles a big smile (this picture isn't one of his biggest smiles). Matéo is also walking, so a challenge for his mother to keep up to him. Ben Mann is my district elder. Both Ben and Naomi Mann are easy people to talk to. Did you know that Matéo is Spanish for Matthew and means "gift of God"? Well, now you know.
Costa Rican dinner
Well, I went to a "Costa Rica" dinner last night. It was fun. But I think that I can safely say that some went home rather full. We had buns, soup, turkey, corn in a tomato bowl, and rice for supper. We had some pina colada with an ice cube in it and some ice cream cake for dessert. We had an auction for some items to raise money for the trip to Costa Rica. I had 1 glass of water with about 4 or 5 glasses of punch to follow. Here are some general pictures for you to see how well it was attended.

If you have trouble loading the pictures, let me know and I'll put them on smaller. Give me a chance to remember that. This is all new to me--as of yet!!
